About Us
Barnsley YBC is an inclusive youth tenpin bowling club that meets every Saturday morning at Barnsley Bowl, Carlton from 9:45am till 1:00pm.
All our coaches and officials are all enhanced DBS checked for your peace of mind. We are also a fully insured YBC, and many of our committee members are also trained in child safeguarding and protection, and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We do also have 1 trained paediatric first aider.
We welcome all levels of bowling abilities to come and join our club, from the absolute beginner to the more experienced bowlers.
So, if you’re interested in learning the techniques and skills involved in bowling, then come and join us and let our BTBA approved coaches show you and help you along your way in getting your perfect 300 game.
As well as learning to bowl you will gain score achievement, badges, certificates, and awards. There are also the opportunities to take part in many bowling tournaments & events at other bowling centres around the southern England throughout year.

Youth Bowling England develops youth and junior tenpin bowling at all levels in England, from the ‘grass roots’ using our network of Youth Bowling Clubs (YBCs) to ‘Elite Level’.
